CartPlate
Guide

Send a recipe to your Kroger cart

Add recipes to your grocery list in CartPlate, and each line is matched to a real product at your Kroger-family store, with its price. Check the list, send it, and the items land in your cart, ready to check out in the store’s own app or site. It works with Kroger and its stores: Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Smith's, Fry's, QFC and more.

Which stores does it work with?

Kroger and its stores: Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Smith's, Fry's, QFC and more.

Pick yours in CartPlate by ZIP code, for pickup or delivery.

Shop somewhere else? You’ll still get a shopping list, and macros as estimates.

How it works

  1. Pick your store

Your ZIP code, then a Kroger-family store near you.

  2. Add recipes

Add to grocery list on a recipe, or the week’s recipes from your plan in one tap.

  3. Check the list

Lines grouped by recipe, and what two recipes share once, added up. Each line is one product and one count, and that’s what goes. Swap any product, just for this shop or saved to the recipe, and remove what you have.

  4. Send

CartPlate checks today’s prices and stock first, and tells you what’s out of stock: it still goes, and the store may substitute or skip it. The first time, you connect your Kroger account in Kroger’s own sign-in.

  5. Check out in the store’s app

The items are in your cart at the store chosen in your Kroger account, so choose your store there before you check out. Prices and availability are final there.

What about prices?

Prices come from your store’s catalog, and CartPlate checks them again before you send. A total is “about”: the store shows the final total at checkout. A list without a Kroger-family store has no prices.

What can CartPlate see in my Kroger account?

You sign in on Kroger’s own page, and a Ralphs or King Soopers sign-in works the same way. CartPlate can add items to your Kroger cart. It can't see your cart, your orders, your payment details or your password.

Disconnect in CartPlate and it deletes the key that lets it add to your cart. Deleting your CartPlate account deletes it too.

What CartPlate doesn’t do

The store’s app does the rest

  • Check out or pay
  • Choose a pickup time
  • See or change what’s already in your cart
  • Coupons or rewards
  • Weigh an item sold by the pound: it goes as one, so check its amount in your cart

Is it free?

Your grocery list and its prices are free. Sending it to your cart is part of Pro.
